I have noticed for over a year when using Yahoo Mail that it is easier to delete a message from your inbox then from your spam folder. This should be the other way around. If you go to delete any email from your Spam folder, you will be prompted if you are sure. If you go to delete a message from your inbox, you can delete it without being prompted if you are sure. Note that I at one time used Yahoo as my main email account. I still have my Yahoo account but do not use it often.
I also have a Twitter account @mklubok and decided to mention this in a tweet to Yahoo. See below.
You see that not one but two Yahoo twitter accounts responded. @YahooCare responded that deleting messages should be the same regardless of folder. Perhaps but it should not be more difficult to delete a message from a spam folder than an inbox folder. The second account was from @yahoomail. I wish I did not have to say it but it looked more like corporate speak. The site I was referred to looked like a black hole for feedback. I don’t believe I responded as I felt my thoughts were being marginalized.
I hope that Yahoo gets the message and starts listening to customers and potential customers. This is a company that still has a lot of potential and still is formidable on the internet. . eBizMBA.com shows Yahoo as the third most popular website behind Google and Facebook. Marissa Mayer are you listening?
